Who am I?

Hey, I’m Stephanie — a Texas girl turned Florida beach blogger with a deep love for TV, movies, and a Calico cat named Sushi.

I was born and raised in Texan but I’m 100% Korean. I’ll always be a Texas at heart. That said, not too long ago, I did something bold: I quit my 9–5, dipped into my savings, and moved to Florida without much of a plan. I didn’t know what was waiting for me — but I knew I wanted something different.

I’ve always been addicted to good stories, especially in TV and film. I’m drawn to period pieces, 90s/2000s throwbacks, and anything that keeps you on your toes. If it’s nostalgic, dramatic, or just plain entertaining, I’m in.

The idea to blog first sparked years ago after watching Julie and Julia, but it wasn’t until I binged The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel that I finally said, “Let’s do this.” I hope this blog becomes not just a creative outlet, but maybe even a main income one day.

You’ll find me soaking up the sun one day, lounging with my cat the next, or curled up bingeing a great show. I call it the blog, cat, beach, and binge life — and I hope you feel at home here.

I created Blog and Binge to connect with others who love what I love, and maybe even help someone discover their next favorite show or just feel inspired to try something new. Whether you’re here to read reviews, find cozy recommendations, or just vibe, I’m so glad you stopped by.

Oh, and Sushi? She’s my rescue Calico and the cat I didn’t know I needed. She goes for walks outside, lounges in her Catio, and might make a few appearances here or on her own little Insta page: @SushiThePurrBaby
